Lindos Primary School is participating for the first time in its history in an Erasmus+ programme, marking a significant milestone in strengthening the school’s outward orientation and internationalisation.
The proposal submitted during the 2025 application period received an outstanding score of 98%, ranking 3rd nationwide among all schools in Greece (including kindergartens, primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary education). In the final ranking of approved applications, the project placed 15th nationwide, highlighting the high quality of its design and the strong potential of the school’s educational work.
The programme focuses on the effective use of modern digital tools to support the development of 21st-century skills, widely known as the 4Cs: collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking.
It includes three key mobility activities: teacher training in Barcelona, an educational visit with students to Finland, and job shadowing in Ireland. Following each mobility, structured dissemination activities are carried out within the school, including training sessions for the wider teaching staff and targeted classroom interventions aimed at implementing innovative practices with students.
In addition, the programme features a range of activities and reference materials designed to share knowledge and promote best practices in the development of the 4Cs and digital learning. These outputs aim to benefit the wider educational community, both within Greece and internationally.
